We have some very exciting news to share. Well were excited, and we think you will be as well - especially if you are one of our many gracious donors. We have filed our paperwork and paid our fees and we are now acting as a 501c3 Corporation. What does this mean? This means we are a non-profit organization and donations to us are now TAX DEDUCTIBLE. This also means we are better able to work to help rescue and place shelter K9s and Kitties! Hats off to Sheralene Thompson and Lori Webb Lowrimore for doing all the grunt work to get us set up and more importantly - actively saving lives. Thanks to all of our members who scraped the bottoms of their pocketbooks to make this possible. Just to be clear - no donated funds were used for the fees for our 501c3. All funds were donated by members of our group. All funds donated for vet care, boarding, meds, transport - have always been used for exactly those purposes - and they always will be. Woo hoo!! We are celebrating! Thank you to all that help us save lives!
