We have such a multigenerational congregation where I worship at the Broken Arrow Church of Christ. Im very thankful for that for many reasons. I personally think it makes for a very healthy congregation. Coleman, my son, has been blessed by so many there and its amazing. Its been interesting to watch his interaction with the older members. Its quite beautiful and a blessing to behold. I love the purpose and the meaning behind every handshake and every hug thats given to Coleman. The special senior citizens could just go in and sit down but they take the time to find Coleman and interact with him because they still have a purpose and they are still valuable and they still have a place in the kingdom and that is absolutely the most encouraging thing I get to see week after week after week! Some have walkers, some can barely move and yet they make special efforts to do whatever they can to make him smile and that makes this mama fall on her knees and thank God that those people could get up get dressed and come to worship and encourage me. I just hope that I can pay it forward. Blessings to all...
