We have this one neighbor who takes it upon themselves to anonymously leave typed notes in our mailbox anytime they are not happy with the state of our yard: we didnt put the trash out right, we didnt cut the grass soon enough, etc. It just gets under my skin so much! Its always either something we did not know was the rule in this neighborhood, or a day or two before Im able to fix the issue due to circumstances beyond my control. Obviously this persons life must suck if thats how they spend their time, observing and typing letters about what we do… But it just bugs me that they couldnt be a good neighbor and introduce themselves we moved in, or come and let us know the way things are done in this neighborhood. Or maybe find out if everything is okay with our lives. They have no clue what is going on with us or why things are the way they are. Sad thing though, there is nothing that we can do but ignore them. Because people like that would rather spend their time being self-righteous than thinking about what other people might be going through
