We have to do something about South Carolinas influential business lobby which appears to be in control of the majority of SC state legislators. We didnt elect the SC Manufacturers Alliance to run this state. Our legislators are suppose to be the protectors of us and our children and our states natural resources. They arent there to sell us out. Lewis Gossett , the alliances chief executive, said no one from Duke has spoken to him about the bill. Instead, Gossett said his group wants to close the loophole. He said most citizen lawsuits are filed by environmental groups rather than everyday citizens. So environmental groups arent made up of everyday citizens who have other every day citizens health in mind. Our water belongs to all of us, but even more so to individuals who require clean water to survive.
