We have to let our old habits die with whom we use to be. You have been reborn in Christ Jesus. You are a new creation in His image to be a light that shines for the world, that is dark and moved by disobedience. How can you call yourself a son of Christ when you still do what is of the world? Has God himself not said “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. (John 17:6, 14 NIV) Therefor be encouraged that you are no longer a part of the world but of Him who died for you. God the father says it three times in the book of Joshua "be STRONG and COURAGEOUS" Be strong and courageous... (Joshua 1:6 NIV) “Be strong and very courageous...(Joshua 1:7 NIV) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NIV)
