We have today welcomed world renowned street artist, Guido Van Helten to the area as part of the launch of the exciting Thorough Fair art project. Developed as part of the ongoing Nowra Alive scheme, Thorough Fair is a week-long event that will see the Egans Lane Laneway transformed into a living and breathing ‘Live Gallery’. As part of the project, Council has commissioned Guido Van Helten to create a large mural within the laneway, encapsulating the spirit and history of the Shoalhaven. This exciting event will culminate on Wednesday evening with the hosting of Thorough Fair, an exciting public event that will see local residents mixing with street artists and musicians in a melting pot of food, music and art.
