We have two visitors on our property. One, the raccoon I trapped last night, will go as soon as Animal Control opens this morning. The other is a camper that hubby noticed yesterday morning down by the creek. We strolled out there last night and got close enough to hear the conversation. The calm voice of an older man, countered by the angry voice of a younger man..... we caught the gist of the argument. The young man, with the family tent, camp seats and his little scooter, was declaring, This is MY house, while his father intoned quietly that things would work out better if he just packed up and came home. According to the previous owners, this isnt the first time. Another young neighbor camped out in our woods years ago, until he got tired and finally went home. Since our little squatter doesnt appear to be hurting anything, we will just wait until the situation rights itself. Probably when it gets warm, muggy and the woods fill with mosquitoes.
