We have worked out the cruise for Shootout. To and from the gate at TRP it will be 21.8 miles. We will go up 169 through Owasso to the north side, turn back south on 145 E. Ave., through the Tulsa Technology Center, to frontage road/129 E Ave., past Owasso High School, on south to 76 N, west to Main Street (and a drive by/wave to Pinnacle Performance), back to 76 N, to 169, south to 36 N, exit east, to Garnett, and back into the track; 21.8 miles. We will be escorted by OHP front and rear and Owasso Police will get us through Owasso without getting all tangled up and separated. Beat The Heat (OHP racers) are arranging our escort and will be running some of their cars in the event as well. Both agree they are not interested in ticketing anyone for their ride. But they will haul you off (with our blessing) if anyone acts like a fool on the cruise. The OHP, Owasso PD and City of Owasso (a TRP partner), are welcoming us and we want to do this again someday! So thats the cruise. A short one but a problem if you dont have a radiator, water pump, alternator, etc. BECAUSE ITS A STREETCAR!!
