We hope everyone had a blast at our Fun Day this past Saturday night and Sunday! We would like to schedule another ROA Fun Day as soon as we can and allow at least 4 months for marketing, but unfortunately, for another ROA Fun Day to happen, we will need to find some sponsors to help us with the expenses. Our Fun Days can include camping, Hugh water Slide, Battle Dash, Doodle Dash, Boulder Dash, Sky Monster Jump, Mock Mile Of Pain, Mock Battle Dash, Various dozens of huge obstacles, (in drier weather, we can have the Mud Bowl Competition), Fresh water rinse stations, Music, Food Trucks and/or catering... and just about anything we can do with 700 acres! We love promoting Fitness Through Adventures, but Quality Irrigation (my primary business) can no longer sponsor the ROA Fun Days and cover the expenses that the ticket sales do not cover. If ROA can get enough companies or company to sponsor the expenses of 2500.00, we will gladly open up registration for our next ROA Fun Day! We hopefully will have many more of these in the future and grow them to bring in about 300 to 600 participants each time. We can always add and create different activities at each event. The costs of a typical ROA Fun Day are as follows: *Property Rental = 500.00 *Insurance for Fun Day = 450.00 *Labor for 3 days for 2 people (Excluding Jonny Simpkins) for prepping pumps/slides/jumps/obstacles/management = 1200.00 *Mowing and weed eating around obstacles = 400.00 *Mowing parking lot, camping areas and vending areas with tractor mower = 500.00. *Trash disposal = 100.00 *Fuel for travel, water pumps and generators = 250.00 *3 Water pumps and 2 generator rentals at 40.00 per day each = 200.00. *Various materials Home Depot (Staples, nails,wood, ribbon, stakes..etc) = 200.00 *Port O Potties (3 at 75.00 plus 75.00 delivery/pick up) = 300.00 *Jonnys time for 2 days off from Quality Irrigation = 1000.00 Total expenses to execute a ROA Fun Day = 5100.00 Income: Net sales online from 101 tickets sold from EventBright = 2070.00 Event day sales, t shirts and sign ups = 530.00 Total income = 2600.00 Net loss= -2500.00
