We hope you can take a second and read this awesome note to IBBBR (a blog that went viral worldwide all started with a photo we posted here). From Lacie Thompson: Every morning I smile when looking through the newest post on Idaho Big Buck and Bull Report. I especially love the kids. I know that my daughter was thrilled in October when you posted her hunting picture. She thought being on your site was like being famous. Since then a lot has happened. A photographer saw her hunting photo and asked to take photos for her own portfolio...the photographer made a comment that her views on hunting have changed since meeting our family. Of course hearing that an anti-hunters views had changed, someone saw it and the blog went viral. A publisher from Europe contacted Hillary (the photographer), Harlee and her dad this last week and interviewed them for possible articles. This publisher owns 5 hunting and fishing magazines in Europe, including the oldest and the most popular. I like how your page keeps everything as positive as possible. After a week of reading a week of comments (500-600 a day) about Harlee on other sites and seeing how nasty people can be and also how kind and sharing others can be its a breath of fresh air to see your occasional post (on IBBBR) saying lets keep it nice, people. Not knowing the pictures Harlee would pose for would spread around the world and get this kind of attention, we allowed her to pack her rack in an upright position for wow factor, in retrospect, maybe we should have just packed them on the other horse or positioned them differently (her dad would never allow her to pack a rack like that in the field). But I guess if people would have realized that this was just a photo shoot and not the actual hunt wed have been better off...but Ive found that the world doesnt read past the pictures sometimes. Some of my favorite comments on other sites that dont have as much politeness have been about her being a diva, upstaging other girls, trying to get men, and of course that her parents are rich or that we should be put in jail for allowing her to become a killer. My tomboy who randomly brushes her hair, but when she does..looks can be deceiving, hah. Today I did a Throwback Thursday of the little girl who hunts only because thats all shes ever known to do in the fall, before she was the huntress on the blogs. Anyway, I just wanted to say, thanks for keeping your page positive....I love seeing everyone smiling with their animals and the nice comments, this is what hunting should be about. Lacie
