We immediately require full time Contract Plant Operators for work in the local area. This is a cold flow operation. This not a camp job so preference will be given to local qualified candidates. This is a temporary position; could initially run three (3) months or longer. Shift: 7/7 Day and Night Shifts Hours: Twelve (12) hours Would prefer if candidates provided their own truck complete with tools and cell phone, but this is not a necessity. Reporting to the Coordinator, you will be a key Operations Team member, ensuring the maximum performance of mechanical, instrumentation and facilities. Duties will include: • Operate equipment and facilities in a safe and efficient manner • Monitor field processing conditions utilizing SCADA control systems • Maintain superior housekeeping practices • Responsible for minor maintenance and the coordination of other maintenance activities • Understand and perform safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lockout and emergency response • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulatory requirements; responsible for corrective action if required • Maintain proper documentation including operator log, maintenance records, safety and environment reports and others as required • Minimum Grade 12, with 2-3 years of operational oil and gas experience. • Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with others. • Identifies problems and develops solutions. • Ability to work independently. • Valid Class 5 Drivers License. • This is a safety sensitive position and pre-assignment D&A testing will be required.
