We join the rest of Kenya in mourning a patriot and a Unionist of high repute Bro Joseph Chirchir who passed on this morning. Bro Joseph Chirchir was National Chairman KNUT(2003-2007) when he retired, having risen through the ranks.His last national duty was as a member of The Karega Committee on selection of TSC commissioners whose choices have been forwarded to the President for final picking and parliamentary approval. During his service to the teachers of Kenya, Joseph is remembered for his loyalty to his calling, articulate presentations and a rare strength and bravely. When the Struggle for teachers rights is documented in this country, his name will feature amongest the great Unionists now gone the likes of BRO KIONI,BRO AA ADONGO,BRO JOHN KATUMANGA & BRO OKUTA OSIANY. WE SEND OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY, TO THE TEACHERS OF KENYA AND TO THE PEOPLE OF HIS COUNTY. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE.
