We just been sent this in the office.. Daily Nation is reporting that the US Director of Intelligence is warning of an imminent terror attack in Kenya. Im looking for more actionable information, but all Im able to find with regard to potential targets is high-end hotels and government buildings. In my experience, US intelligence doesnt use the word imminent lightly. Please exercise extra caution for the next few days. Some tips to consider:Travel off peak hours Avoid large gatherings (e.g. Maybe watch Africa Cup of Nations with friends instead of going to a bar this Saturday)Avoid areas frequented by tourists Be aware of escape routes in public places (e.g. service bays and fire escapes)Be aware of secure places to hide in public place (e.g. bank branches and forex bureaus have bullet-proof glass) Try to avoid publicized events (e.g. Nairobi Restaurant Week)-with Maimbira Matangari
