We just got back from Crawfish House. We were attending a surprise birthday party for Karen Brown Boudreaux. It was her 50th. She was really surprised. They one whole area taken up & decorated. It was decorated beautifully. Her sister & neice did most of the decorating. There were probly 30 or so people there. It was great to visit with so many friends. We used to pick these kids up for Sun. school when we came to opelousas 44 years ago. there were 5 children, one of them passed away, but all the rest are in church today. None of them live on Opeloosas anymore but we have remained close to them all this time. We still call them our kids & love them very much. Happy birthday Karen again. She said it was worth turning 50 just to have the party.
