We just got back from a 11 day trip to Disney with our 8 hear old and 16 month old. The positives are that I never had to stand on a bus while holding the baby. Someone would always give me their seat. I was so thankful not to have to try to hold on to him while on the bus. We got an awesome seat at the crystal palace, in perfect view of the castle. The rider swap was awesome and we loved the memory. The negatives have a lot to do with this being the first time I have taken such a small child. I was unaware that strollers are not allowed in most buildings (except gift shops). While I do understand how crowded it would be if everyone brought a stroller into a restaurant, personally my trip would have been so much better if I could have. Especially in the building with soarin (that is a long time to hold a child.) Our building at our resort ( PORS ) had no elevator so we had to carry a double stroller and a baby up the stairs like 4 times a day.
