We just got back from seven days in South Carolina. Last Thursday to Blythewood, SC for the SEC Equestrian meet. S.C., Auburn, UGA, and TA&M. Ga lost by 3 tiebreaker points when we thought they had won. Math error found about three hours after the competition!!! My heart was broken! Next, four days in Litchfield Inn on Pawleys Island, SC. Every time I saw the sign I thought of Lexie and Nate because the call their Grandpa Pawee(phonetic). Laying on my bed I could look to the left through a wall of glass and see the Atlantic Ocean. If I opened the door, I could hear it AND freeze Herbert for the first couple of days! We ate at Captain Georges and Hansons, both excellent places. Went to Georgetown, SC and took a four hour boat ride. Saw bald eagles, alligators, and the smoke stack of the USA Naval flagship sunk in 1865. Also learned about growing rice. Picked up two HUGE horse shoe crab complete shells on a deserted island. Left coast on Wednesday morning to meet family at Ft Jackson for our niece Montanas graduation from boot camp. She has accomplished so much! On to Virginia for her tomorrow morning. She became engaged on Wednesday. Learned a lot about several subjects while on the trip. Brought back several animal specimens. Good trip!
