We just got out of court about the mold issue and have to wait to hear the judges ruling. As we were walking out the opposing attorney asked if he could speak with us and pulled us aside. Then he goes into this whole thing saying how hes sympathetic to us and really cares deeply about our situation etc..... then tells us it will be best for us to just settle this thing now and throw in the towel because we will be sorry if we pursue this. He goes on to tell us how small of a town this is and him and his family have been here for generations and know everyone and weve only been here for merely months. That we will not be happy with the outcome. Then I told him that Im aware of human psychology and how attorneys bully people with those tactics and while we appreciate his sincere concerns, we are not willing to stop fighting for what is right. I told him that my family and church family have been in this small town for generations as well and we are willing to deal with the outcome whatever it may be. Im not sure what him knowing people have to do with this case but I am sure why he threw all of that in. And it didnt work. Ive got God on my side. God knows the truth. He knows how these landlords do people and how kiniving they have been. Im just asking all of my prayer warriors to pray about this situation and for it to be resolved in the fairest way. Im not worried about a guy that has been practicing law for 3 yrs that tries to use bullying tactics to get what he wants. God is the ultimate Judge and he has the last say.
