We just got the results back on one of the metabolic labs drawn on Dylan last week and it is the most amazing thing. His propionylcarnatine (c3), the lab that was drawn as part of the newborn screening that indicated he has a metabolic disease when born, that was still elevated after surgery some, is now in the NORMAL range. So if he had the test now, it wouldnt flag that he had a metabolic disease. Now the doctors still say he is not cured, so I will add that as a note, but his lab work is showing such amazing things since transplant. I have chills. God is so good!
