We just heard Charitys lab results from the GI nurse. All of Charitys liver function tests were in a NORMAL range...first time in a year! Charitys pancreatic elastase was also normal. YAY! But since we have no answers regarding the constant diarrhea, she is being scheduled for an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy soon and will have to be admitted the night before for IV fasting. As per Charitys endocrinologist, we also have started using small amounts of corn starch in the morning and afternoon to see if it helps keep Charitys blood sugars in a better range...well see how her tummy handles this as the dosage increases...last time didnt go well.
