We just heard from Mr Benny about the ac. He said at this point with the age and shape it is in and the cost of what needs to be replaced, and as much as I put into it every year because it isnt big enough for my house, Id be better off replacing it. The total cost is $3617. Hes donating his labor (Ive known him most of my life. Hes fixed it before for fresh eggs. Hes a good man). Now to come up with that money. Dog rescuers dont have funds like that. We have farmed out some of the old dogs, got a dinosaur window unit that is keeping it cool this morning, Kquvien is bringing a unit, Dede is bringing fans. My electric bill is probably going to cause me to need therapy but it is reasonably cool at the moment. I cant thank you all enough for being here for us right now. This was the last thing we needed but I guess who ever needs their ac to go out right. This fundraiser makes me very uncomfortable but we have no choice. We have to have ac for the animals.
