We just learned that the State of Tennessee will put the Hall-Harding-McCampbell House at 305 Kent Road in Donelson up for auction next month. We included this c.1805 Federal-style landmark on our inaugural 2009 Nashville Nine list of the citys most endangered historic places. The house was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. According to Tennessee Representative Darren Jernigan, the property is scheduled for advertisement in the real estate for sale section of the local papers on August 3 and August 17. There will be 2 open houses where the property will be open for public inspection on August 6 and and on August 20 from 10am-2pm. The property will only be open for inspection on those dates and times. Bids are due Thursday, August 21, no later than 1:30pm at the TN Real Estate Asset Management office in Nashville.
