We just made it back to the Ronald! It was extremely hard to get through in a lot of areas and I my feet were slipping almost every step. The nurses at Sloan were trying to let families go early because the snow is only getting worse. Wes had an okay day - the usual pain and high heart rates/low blood pressure. He didnt get started until 2:50pm because Sloan was a mad house of people trying to get their appointment in before the blizzard. Wes didnt get a room until about 5 minutes before treatment started. We had been told to get there by 10am. Wes is sleeping now and has a headache but luckily we wont have to go anywhere tomorrow as long as Wes remains fever free!
