We just moved here and I found it weird that people wrapped their water pipes (foam stuff made sense but Ive seen several houses that wrapped straight up towels around their outside water pipes and secured it with duct tape). Now I may understand. Our cold water in the middle of the day is scalding hot. The hot water is even hotter. Im assuming this is because our outside water pipes (from the ground to the house) arent covered? I was hoping to do some projects this weekend and will go buy some stuff to wrap the pipes if that means Little One wont cry when washing his hands anymore due to the cold water being too hot.
