We just received this news from the Pike County Board of Education: Microsoft has recently made five free copies of Microsoft Office 2013 products available to all Kentucky students whose district participates in the Student Advantage Program. All Pike County students are now eligible! Students can install the Office products on any type of device they wish: including laptops, smartphones, home computers and other mobile devices such as iPads and Androids. Both Mac and Windows versions of the products are available for download! To get their free copy, students simply need to log into the Office 365 website at login.microsoftonline/ with a valid Pike County student e-mail address to get started. The login page is also available on the Pike County webpage as the Student Webmail link. Students who need help logging in should contact their school for assistance. Pike County is proud to be able to make this offering to students and hope all students take full advantage of this opportunity. Note: At this time, staff can only take advantage of the HUP (Home Use Program) to get a personal copy of the Office 2013 products at a heavily discounted rate. Microsoft is expected to make the same free offering available to all staff sometime in the fall of 2014.
