We just smoked out the culdesac taking a torch to these, but at one point their (and one other one not shown) balance was more than our annual salary... and they werent maxed out on frivolous things, either, but on $20,000 plumbing and electrical emergencies and extremely large uninsured medical emergency expenses, and on gas and groceries when we couldnt afford to feed our family during some extremely hard times. I stutter alot in the video because its been a huge burden and its been emotionally draining to even have to see them regularly. I was so excited i couldnt speak. I say in the video that we are officially debt free outside our mortage, but, just in todays mail, we got almost $2k in new medical bills for our little charlie grace that are due in 3 weeks... but i already filed my tax return and that should cover those... so... yes. Thank you, Lord, we are DONE! My innermost Dave Ramsey fangirl wants to call in to his show and celebrate (we took FPU together shortly after we bad our first baby almost 8 years ago!), but the amount of our mortage alone makes me want to vommit... so the celebratory call is gonna have to wait. It has been SO damn hard. Honestly, If we didnt have the amazing family (you know who you are!
