We just spoke to the surgeon and he said that things went well, except that when she had come out of surgery she was shaking a lot. He thought that there might be something seriously wrong, so he spent a good deal of time with her. It turned out that she was shaking from being cold. This happens whenever she has an IV, but he didnt know that. He said that she told him that she had lost feeling in her right hand, but he said she was moving it quite well so I am not sure exactly what is up with that. He said he was as concerned about her after the operation has he was with some of his brain tumor patients. Regardless, everything went well and we are waiting approximately another 15 minutes before we can go upstairs. When we go up stairs, they will very likely move us to a hospital room for the night, but she will not get migraine relief until they program her device in the morning. Of course, this is still exciting, scary, unbelievable, and many other emotions and we are still shocked that this has happened. Thank you all for continuing to share this on your social media sites.
