We just spoke with a Utah mother whose six children were kidnapped from her by child services because they went on a long walk and a "concerned citizen" reported them to police. When social workers demanded that she create and sign a "safety plan," she told them that they had no jurisdiction/authority to require this of her as a condition of keeping her children. Yesterday a social worker arrived with two police officers to take the children. This mother has not been told even where her children are, let alone when the hearing will be to contest the action.
