We just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the donations we received this week. Weve received, at last count, 13 big bags of cedar chips, monetary donations to buy a lot more (a lot more!!), puppy replacer milk, puppy pads, cat treats, dog treats, dog food, linens, and an adopt me vest! One bag of cedar chips has already been delivered to a little beagle in need and our animal control officers have bags on their trucks ready to be given out when needed. We also want to thank our friends at Kroger for the donation drive they had for us recently. Because of that, Friends of Animal Control, Appomattox was able to purchase $200 worth of puppy replacer milk for the seven orphan puppies who came to the shelter last week (and theyre gobbling it up faster than we can get it to them!). They are doing great because of the dedicated foster moms! Were attaching a picture of four of them for your Friday night enjoyment ♥. Thank you all!!
