We kicked off our three day Washington Roots Award celebration tonight with a presentation by our recipient, Dave van Dyck, a famed Chicago sportswriter. During his presentation, van Dyck reminisced about his days as journalist covering such teams as the Bulls, White Sox, and Cubs, and told many entertaining stories about the athletes and celebrities he interacted with during successful 30yr career.
