We know gods and aliens do not belong to time and now we know that human beings do not belong to time and now we know this we need to know as to what gods and aliens and humans all belong to if not to time and the answer is the being of fire for light gives gods gives aliens gives humans their being light and the lightening strike is the being in itself becoming the being for it self that strikes at beings as a whole and gods and aliens and humans live by light and die by light from the light of day to the light at night for being in the dark is still being in the light for in the dark we actually see things see beings in a new light in a lighter light for the darker the light is then the sharper and clearer becomes the nothing that is there doing nothing in the dark-light Being awake means being-in-timelessness woken up from the sleep of time which is radically-different from the dream of the no-time which is why sleeping is absolutely alien to dreaming indeed sleeping and dreaming are arch-enemies wishing each other dead for sleeping is the forgetting that time does not exist whereas dreaming is an awakening that time does not exist for the dream has no duration has no time has no now which is why you are out of time never anywhere there on time in time and even though there is day light in your dream you do not see the sun for if you did see the sun in a dream it would awaken you at once and turn you into stone that is the perfectly carved block of the infinite now as a jet black oblong block floating in nothing The now of the no time means that the living and the deading are the same that the young and the old are the same that the day and the night are the same that the awake and the asleep are the same that the sky and the sea are the same that fire and water are the same for they all change-over into each-other as that same-difference where what is different is the same and which is why gods and aliens and humans are one and the same beings albeit wearing different disguises for the young are disguised as old and old are disguised as young the sun disguised as the sea and the sea disguised as the sun the living disguised as the deading and the deading disguised as the living never knowing which ones we are whilst knowing we are one and all Alex Verney-Elliott, Being Time, Being & Alien, Bloomsbury, London: 2014.
