It doesnt involve single-leg anythings, single-arm anythings, sub-maximal light-weight anythings, partial range of motion anythings, or running around the weight room yelling about what badasses we all are. It involves an accurate assessment of the athletes current strength level, and the application of effective training principles that progressively increase the athletes ability to apply force. And this is best accomplished with barbells used effectively.
