We know parking for this event can be difficult. There will be MINIMAL beach parking with street closures. If you live on the island and can bike, walk, skateboard or get dropped off - that is the best choice. If you are staying at the Doubletree, they are offering an extended shuttle schedule! 7:00 am - 10:00 PM!!! They would leave the hotel at 7, 8, 9, 10… and so forth to shuttle over to the beach. It takes 15-20 minutes based on traffic to get to the beach so pick up would be around 7:15am, 8:15am,9:15am… and so forth. They are basing the time at when the shuttle leaves the hotel for the drop off. Pick up would follow 15-20 minutes after. There is also the parking garage at Brus Room.
