We like those people who make us feel good about ourselves. We dislike those people who make us feel not good enough. We hate those people who make us feel intense pain, who make us feel like a worm (scum of the earth), who make us hurt intensely, and who make us feel worthless. We love those people who make us feel precious, who help us connect with our essence, and who make us feel ecstatic - who help bring a spring in our step, a glint in our eyes, and music in our heart. The interesting part is that even a single person can make us feel all this at different times.....:) for in each person resides the entire world. When we love intensely, chances are that we can hate (hate originates in the fear of losing what we love) intensely as well - for love and hate are two sides of the same coin. A heart full of love is HEAVEN....and a heart full of hate is HELL. We create our own heaven and our own hell. However, we recognize the preciousness of our heaven only when we fear losing it. A home where love resides is Heaven on Earth....
