We live in a city of foresight and prosperous industry. If you havent heard of the famous St. Charles Kitchens? Long time residents, historic preservationists, and home renovators have. But, did you know that St Charles Kitchens, built by the St Charles Manufacturing Company, were and are preserved in several Frank Lloyd Wright homes (Falling Water in Mill Run PA, Wingspread, home of HL Johnson of Johnson Wax in Racine WI, and others). In the White House family kitchens of Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, and LBJs ranch house in Johnson City TX! The homes of Johnny Carson, Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra (preserved and featured in his Twin Palms home in Palm Springs CA). And in Mies VanDer Rohe-designed house in Plano IL (Farnsworth House currently an Illinois State Historical Park).
