We live in a double-wide trailer on blocks (we own). Driving two very old cars (we own). And waltzed into the used car dealership with cash in hand in December to buy a little thing for the older kids to drive. Salesman kept pushing to see if wed finance (read: spend more than we had). I was firm. Kind and all that sh**, but firm! Later while waiting on paperwork he gingerly asked, So you say your credit is good. What do you consider good?
