We live in a world of reactions and reflexes. Not predetermined - TopicsExpress

We live in a world of reactions and reflexes. Not predetermined static postures. If someone can slow this video down, I cant tell if he packed his neck in time or if he consciously braced his Core. Do you think he kegeld hard enough?? Im sure he didnt consider any of those things ,because he didnt have time to.. So why would we instill all those feed forward principles when training reflexive stability? For all the people I have an opportunity to work with, this exactly the scenario I always bring up when talking about reflexive stability. Theres just certain things you dont get when all you do is train the big lifts. You either cultivate authentic reflexive stabilization or you break it down. How many stories have you heard of people pulling a muscle avoiding a similar fall?
