We live in an ordinary world with overwhelming challenges. And all around us we see people - face those challenges resigned to never overcome them personally. It is a safe place, the everyday life where everybody lives. It anchors our identity to our surroundings and lulls us into believing that survival and predictability defines our fulfillment in life. There may be a time in our life when we receive a call to action, such as a direct threat to our safety, our family, our way of life or to the peace of the community in which we live. It is easy to respond to an obvious intruder into our security. But there are more subtle calls to action that some people never hear. It may not be as dramatic as a gunshot, simply a phone call or conversation may do, whatever the call is, and however it manifests itself, it must ultimately disrupt the comfort of our Ordinary World and presents us with a challenge that must be undertaken.
