We lived in Antioch at the time and my daughter and I was in he garage. My husband and son was doing some yard work in the back when things started shaking. My daughter said we should go inside the house, and I said it would be over in a second, but it didnt. It kept going and I looked up at the things we had in the rafters and thought they might start tumbling down and agreed perhaps we had better get inside. We looked out the backyard and my husband and son was holding on to the tree to keep from falling. Later my husband said the roofs of the homes in the neighborhood looked like waves. Main thing I remember is how it just kept going.
