We ll match opposition violence for violence- Yero By Sunday Isuwa Kaduna State Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero said yesterday that they will match the opposition violence for violence in the February elections. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of his re-election campaign at the Murtala Mohammed square, Yero threatened fire for fire to the opposition who tore the part of violence. The governor who also slammed party faithfuls for the available vacant seats at the venue of the programme, said any PDP candidate that refused to campaign, will be replaced. Yero, whose speech was mostly in Hausa said, If they tear one of your poster, tear 10 of theirs. If they over power you, come and tell us. The governor also said that if the opposition did not desist from politics of intimidation, that the PDP is ready to match the opposition violence for violence and trouble for trouble adding, PDP is the ruling party and they party is not ready to give in for any further intimidation. PDP supporters must be bold enough to turn out for campaigns and paste their posters and billboard anywhere because we are all Nigerians and nobody should intimidate you, Yero said. Speaking further the governor branded the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai a betrayer who has betrayed most of his political godfathers in the past. Ask their candidate who is in the habit of betraying people that made him politically. He has betrayed Atiku Abubakar, General Olusegun Obansajo and even General Buhari that they are together today, he will betrayed him. El-rufai has in the past denied that he is an indigene of Kaduna state, even when he was the Minister of the FCT. He denied being a minister representing Kaduna state and claimed he is representing the North-West. Even at that he cannot point out to one thing he has done for Kaduna state and now, what is he looking for in Kaduna, Yero asked. Yero further alleged that the candidate of the opposition has sold some of the houses he acquired through dubious means in Abuja and has raised enough money to throw around for the sake of winning election.
