“We lost a dear friend” I am deeply shaken and saddened to hear about the untimely death of our dear friend and colleague, Nathaniel Egonmwan. He was shot dead at his residence in Benin City on the night of 23 May 2013. The entire Klub82(Class of 82) of Eghosa Grammar School, Benin City feels profound pain from the loss of such a wonderful person and caring father, brother, friend, colleague, etc. When I last saw Nathaniel was in 1989, he was looking forward to be a good and honest banker. Really, he was a good and honest UBA Bank Inspector. He was enthusiastic about the future and talked about some of the things he was planning to do. It is hard to imagine that he is no more with us. This is a very difficult time for all of us but most importantly for Nathaniel’s wife and children. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
