We lost a good man as Senate Majority Leader. But hes back in Washington after his horrific injury, you can see him here talk about that and several other matters. Hes due for surgery this coming Monday to correct the broken bones around his eye. He looks remarkably well considering. I heard that he will not gain eyesight back in that eye. Being a native Nevadan (born and raised but now out of the state), Ive known Harry Reid in politics since I was in high school in the 1970s. The fact that hes still keeping on says a lot about the his character, his intent and his passion and personal strength to do this job.
