We lost a lot of blood today! We went to a magnificent waterfall called Krung Ching. Getting there was no joke. It took is 1.5 hours on the scooter and another 40 minutes by foot through a treacherous jungle path. We had to fight off leaches, mosquitos, flies, and dragonflies. The jungle floor and trees all around us was wet and humid all the way there and back. We climbed up and down steep 35° angle slopes covered in slimy leaves and moss and our feet was slippery from the leach infected mud we had to battle through. We climbed up and down knee-high steps - spiraling staircases at 60° angles. Many times we could not even stay on our feet. At one point we pulled about 15 leaches from our feet leaving open wounds and blood. We must have pulled about 40 leaches from ourselves during the whole walk.
