We made a clients day yesterday she slipped on the floor of a fast food restaurant that was covered in grease and like an ice rink. She suffered painful injuries as she went down as if she had been shot. They denied liability on grounds they had cleaning systems in place but overlooked the fact that the mop used to clean the entrance and main body of restaurant was the same one used in kitchen to soak up chicken grease! As such they capitulated yesterday and admitted liability and our client recovered 4000 for her pain and suffering. In these cases its always important to secure CCTV at an early stage and details of all staff working as once they are interviewed the truth usually comes out.
