We made an unscheduled visit to Houston yesterday due to symptoms she has been having. Increased headaches, confusion, nausea, vomiting and memory loss. Went to ER and Ct showed abundant amount of swelling. MRI was ordered after that and she was admitted over night and given large amounts of steroids and pain medications. This morning her neurosurgeon came to see us and sadly informed us there is nothing else that can be done. The tumor is growing quickly and is very diffuse making it impossible to operate. She also has the beginning of leptomeningeal disease which is when melanoma travels into the cerebrospinal fluid. They are going to place her on the chemo she was taking when she developed pancreatitis to see what it possibly will do. Brandi has fought so hard and is so tired. BUT she is still fighting. Please pray for Brandi as she enters into this transition of her life and pray specifically that Brandi will receive peace from her abundant faith in God. Please also pray WE ALL will hear from God what she needs from us. This group means the world to us!!!!
