We managed to get the horses worked this morning before the big rain came! They all had to work with rain brewing, showers and wind but the 3 angels didnt seem to mind! George gave us canter on both reins today, yesterday was his first attempt ever at canter so today to have both leads and him showing a fair few balanced strides on his good rein, and a couple of nice ones on his bad rein we were proud to say the least!!! He is quickly progressing towards graduation and is now open to early enquiries, with us estimating he will be formerly advertised next week if no suitable homes enquire before hand! Pat also worked super under saddle, developing trot nicely! Pat is a little pace prone but today was only his second day out of walk and he is already working out to trot and not pace! He is such a clever boy!!! Pats eager to please, yet laid back personality, lightweight build and nice trot do give us the idea he may be a good candidate for endurance! Standies are becoming popular as endurance horses and we certainly think this may be a field that our Patty boy would excel in! Panther too worked super and his first ride is only a session or 2 away!!!
