We may know the PRICE of a litre of milk, half a dozen eggs or a pound of flesh. What we need to understand is the COST. Every product that we derive from the bodies of sentient creatures like ourselves, comes at the cost of EVERYTHING that would make their lives worth living. There is no way to exploit the bodies of other beings without reducing them to units of production, things rather than beings who have needs and wants and preferences. All exploitation is completely unnecessary as we can be perfectly healthy without causing harm. If you are not vegan, then the next time you consider the price of the items in the supermarket, stop instead and consider the true cost. Turn your back on exploitation and be vegan.
