We missed two VERY IMPORTANT Birthday shout outs over that last few weeks so here they go! Happy Birthday to our wonderful and talented teachers Lisa and Mary!!!! Lisa was our first teacher at Himalaya Yoga Valley Cork- we spotted her immense talents and wonderful warmth as a teacher when she came to train with us at our sister school Himalaya Yoga Valley India. Anyone who has taken one of her classes knows that she lives her yoga from the inside out and she is a true inspiration to all who cross her paths. Lisa is such an important part of the company- she carries on Lalits lineage with pure integrity and she is always working behind the scenes on education and growth for herself and the whole team. Lisa recently moved into the role of Teacher Trainer- working with Lalit and the YTTC team on our 200 Hour Program in Spain. Lisa teaches across all levels at the centre and specializes in Pre Natal yoga and Mommy and Baby yoga. We love you Lisa! Happy Birthday! ***Teacher fact- Lisa LOVES spiders in all shapes and sizes and if you want to get her a Birthday gift this is the route to take, the larger the better. On to Mary! Mary trained on the first TTC held in Cork and once again we spotted her talents from the get go! Mary is the cup of coffee in Himalaya Yoga Valley that wakes us all up when things get a bit tired here in the office. When you hear Mary bounding into the centre with an enthusiastic well girl! you know the day is about to pick up in energy. Mary is an integral part of the Himalaya Yoga Valley team and whilst you have probably met her talents in a welcoming beginners class or a dynamic advanced class her passion really lies with her special needs groups who attend the centre during the week. Mary gives so much back to the community through her teaching and we are proud to have her on our team. Mary also teaches Kids yoga and recently spent time in India honing her skills with the TTC team and topping up her tan. Happy Birthday- We love you Mary! ***Teacher fact- Mary had a strange obsession with the vaccum cleaner Henry and went a bit odd when we replaced him with another hoover... Happy Birthday Ladies!
