We must demand good quality water and lower rates. I hope to see alot of Flint residents at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Tuesday, January 13, 2015. It is over due that people quit talking and demand that the Emergency Manager, the Governor (and others ) do the right thing regarding Flints water. I believe we should return to Detroit Water until the new water pipeline is completed in 2016. I know that one lawsuit has already been filed as it relates to the bad water. Show up to get the FACTS and understand what we must do as residents in this, our,Flint community is at risk..... There is POWER IN NUMBERS. I WILL DO MY JOB AS THE 1st Ward City Councilman......... Hope to see YOU at the church Tuesday.....I would like to thank Great Lakes Moderator and Pastor Lewis Randolph, State Representative Sheldon Neeley, County Commissioner Brenda Clack and Bryant Nolden in advance for their commitment and support for this Townhall Meeting....according to my communications with each of those named you should see and hear from these elected officials at the church..... I want to make it perfectly clear, I, Eric Mays, 1st Ward Councilman (810)922-4860 believes and KNOWS we should go back to Detroit water until the new pipeline is completed in 2016. I do not speak for other elected officials. Share this post, encourage attendance and let us prove that we can take care of this problem quickly. I predict that 1st Ward Councilman Eric Mays and 3rd Ward Councilman Kerry Nelson will not be the only Flint City Councilpersons present. We all thank you in advance for your ATTENTION to these IMPORTANT WATER ISSUES......Hope to see you there to answer your questions, but more importantly, to support us as we speak in a UNITED VOICE to FIX OUR WATER ISSUES FAST.......Amen.
