. We must join with those who did see the default as if showing a treasure. Consideration should be given to a wise man who rejects the errors. In truth attend such a man is a bine not a bad thing. II. Do not take as friends those who do evil and those who are low. Say your good company, research the best friendship among men. III. Whoever drinks the source of doctrine, lives happily in the serenity of mind. The wise always welcomes the doctrine taught by the Nobles. IV. Builders aqueducts leading water at their discretion, those who make the arrows shape, the carpenter turned wood (as they wish), the wise control themselves. V. As the solid rock is not jerked by the wind, so the wise remain unshaken by praise or blame. VI. As a deep lake, clear and calm and wise become clear after listening to the Doctrine. VII. There are few men who pass on the other side. Most come and go on this side. VIII. But those who follow the doctrine taught well, crossing the field of Death, difficult to cross.
