We must learn to yield our members to: GOD’S WILL. Doing - TopicsExpress

We must learn to yield our members to: GOD’S WILL. Doing God’s will requires us to become vulnerable. Many times we have only Him to lean on and trust. Peter had to get out of the boat and get on the water, and we will too. Est 4:13-14 13 he sent back this answer: Do not think that because you are in the kings house you alone of all the Jews will escape. 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your fathers family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this? Esther had a choice to make. God was not limited by her obedience, but yielding to His will would save her own life. She chose to be obedient, even though it meant her life would be in jeopardy. God puts us in places where we must yield to His will and trust Him to keep us. Keep us when we might be embarrassed, look stupid, lose face, or even be injured. Mordecai’s words should be the question we ask ourselves when confronted with a difficult choice to yield to God’s will. He asked, “Did God put you in this position for such a time as this?” We need to ask ourselves that question often. Knowing God has brought us to a place will give us confidence to step forward in faith. I pray for you today. If you are struggling with a decision, I pray you find grace to choose His will and trust in His providence.
